Project Summary
For our final projects in AP Japanese class, we created resources for learning Japanese for future classes. One difficulty we had encountered during the year was that it was difficult to practice the AP test due to its unique format and presentation. Therefore, I decided to create a mock AP Japanese test, usable for practice, homework assignments, and in-class assessments. It has the ability to take pre-packaged zip files for exams (with all question data and assets bundled into one file), display the test for the student and allow the student to complete the multiple choice, listening, and speaking sections, and record all student responses to a single, convenient output file for submission to the teacher (including full audio recordings). It supports GNU/Linux, Windows, and Mac operating systems, and only requires minimal hardware and storage capacity to run, thus being well-suited to school computers.
